RUBBERIZED BALANCING ROPE
The balancing rope is one of the key elements of multi-rope hoisting installations with friction sheaves. Its reliability and durability, along with hoisting ropes, determine the productivity and efficiency of the hoisting installation.
The primary purpose of the balancing rope is to provide a linear mass equal to the total linear mass of the hoisting ropes, stabilizing the friction moment on the sheave regardless of the position of the hoisting vessels in the mine shaft. Large multi-rope hoisting installations require ropes with a high linear mass (up to 30 kg/m).
Applications
- Mining and hoisting equipment
- Industrial, commercial, and residential elevators
Production
Since 2003, the Ukrainian enterprise PK Promkanat LTD has been manufacturing rubberized balancing ropes under TU U 28.7-32410368-001:2006, designed for use in mine hoisting systems on freight and cage multi-rope installations and elevators.
Rubberized ropes produced by PK Promkanat consist of a rubber-metal core, which includes a series of parallel galvanized steel cables vulcanized in rubber, and external rubber covers. The rope construction is simple and efficient in production. The ropes are manufactured according to the order with the required linear mass, length, and strength characteristics.
Production Capacity
The production capacity of “Promkanat” allows for the supply of rubberized balancing ropes not only within Ukraine but also to neighboring and distant foreign countries. We have accumulated significant experience in the operation of rubber-cable ropes in many mine hoisting installations in Ukraine and other countries. This experience confirms the high reliability and efficiency of rubberized ropes in mine hoisting systems.
